Madoff hearings- I think that this issue concerns me because it makes me think of the irresponsible behavior from the SEC to investigate on fraud cases. The SEC took action just after Harry Markopolos gave evidence of other two fraud cases to SEC Inspector General David Kotz. This makes me wonder how many cases of fraud can go by without being detected?

The story of intrigue in Maryland made me laugh. I appreciated the writing style and the way the author used a creative lead to effect. When the "goods" are finally revealed, you're hooked (no pun intended).
German Chancellor Angela Merkel called Pope Benedict XVI about the welcoming of Bishop Richard Williamson back into the Roman Catholic Church. Bishop Williamson denies the Holocaust ever happened. Germany's catholic bishops called for his expulsion.
What's been called the worst fires in Australia's history continue to sweep through the country leaving almost 100 dead. Over 600 houses have been burned.
Alex Rodriguez is one of 104 professional baseball players that tested positive for steroids in 2003.
The former president of Iran, Mohammad Khatami announces candidacy in the June elections.
Dr. Aribert Heim, the most-wanted Nazi War Criminal was uncovered. His hiding place (Egypt) and death in 1992 were unknown until now.
Heim's death cannot actually be confirmed to this point.
Egyptian authorities presented a death certificate, but there is no body, and one of the people being quoted in the articles (Heim's son)was actually a co-conspirator in his hidings/escapes.
