Another thing in the news that might be worth looking at is the situation between Iraq and Turkey reguarding the Kurdish population.

Bobby Jindal was elected as Governor of Louisiana. Read the article about him in the NY Times to see why this is a landmark victory for the state.

Its looking a lot like Turkey is going to invade the Kurdish area of northern Iraq. Kurdish rebels initiated an attack on Sunday...
