Tweeting celebs

From a 202-er:

Hi Katy-
I found an interesting article about social media (and Twitter in particular) making it difficult for PR teams to keep tabs on information their clients know, but shouldn't leak to the public. Apparently many contracts now have 'social media clauses' to protect that info now. I thought the article's take was very interesting.

Thanks!

I agree with the article when it says "give fans a sense of connection" if celebrities tweet something that means they want their friends or fans or whomever to see it. i think it is really interesting that pr needs to be involved, like they can't trust what will come out of celebritie's mouths and in turn on their twitter page. do they really need someone monitoring them at all times? even on their own webpage?
