KC news meeting

What happened in the news this week? You haven't been commenting much to this post, so rather than going from my own thoughts, I'm leaving it entirely up to you.

What was worth knowing this week?

Arrests that were made for the insider trading scandal—another sign of arrogance and excess on wall street. Ringleader was already one of the richest men in the world!

Katy,

I forgot my Blogger password so could you post this to the current events section:

The event that seemed to make the most headlines this week was the boy who was thought to have sailed off in his family's balloon. The media made it a big spectacle based off of the account of his slightly older brother. My question does not concern whether or not it was a publicity stunt, but how we can make something so unsure a highly talked about issue.

This is a really interesting article about giving students and ex-convicts a second chance.
