We spend time learning WHAT media workers do, but it's just as important to think about HOW they do it and WHY they do it. Let's get some ideas percolating about what we see and how it affects us. I call it "Sunrise on Media" because I often arrive at work obscenely early and will update this blog then.

I agree, great use of social media. But it's too bad they picked a sexist title for the Web site...
I'm not sure about this. It seems good in theory but not so much in practice. People overreact to things all the time. This'll give you cancer, that'll make you die. I say, you can't live in fear. Their website even says, "Exposure to low levels of melamine produced no observable toxic effects." This reminds me of those PTA moms that get all riled up about Darwinism and sex ed.
